Construction Update

Hotel is upgrading their beach area with landscaping and upgrading of the beach umbrellas. To minimize the impact, hotel will complete the project gradually, o­n parts of the beach. Most of the work will be done outside, in the contracted company's workshop and o­nly the installation will be done o­n site. Phase o­ne started as of 10 April and is carried o­n in the area of Diving Center. The works are due to be completed by 20 June (dates may vary with o­ne or two days – either way). Phase two will start as of 19 May and are due to be completed by 20 July (dates may vary with o­ne or two days – either way).

The construction of a new resort has started o­n the right side of Le Meridien Al Aqah, however there are currently no activities nor disturbances from the building site next door as construction ceased to work since early April.
