Construction Update

Jumeirah Beach Hotel will be refurbishing two of the signature restaurants in the hotel in the coming months. Carnevale and La Parrilla restaurants will be closed to for a period of six weeks each to complete interior design work and remodeling of areas within the restaurants. Commencing from 04th May 2008, Italian restaurant, Carnevale will close for six weeks, with the new design representing the classic looks of Venice with Italian elegance. From 16th June 2008, our Argentinean restaurant, La Parrilla will close for six weeks to recreate the South American colonial style of restaurant, with age distressed walls and the feature walk in cellar. No structure or hard finishes are being revised o­nly the interior design of the restaurant areas. There will be minimal disruption or impact to guests when staying at the hotel and any noise limited to between the hours of 10.00 and 18.00 o­nly.

Construction Update

Please note that the hotel will be refurbishing Sinbad’s Kids Club. The new Sinbad’s KidsClub will be three times larger than the current club and provide our younger guests withover 1100 m² (over 3600 feet) of contained play areas. For parents, this means peace ofmind knowing your children are enjoying a safe, secure and fun environment. The refurbishment will commence o­n 1 July and is expected to be completed by 30 September 2008. During the redevelopment, Sinbad’s Kids Club will continue to offer a full range of activities and services for children operating out of The Pavilion Sports Club. The Family Pool will remain open throughout the planned renovation and guests may also utilise the facilities of Sinbad’s Kids Club at our sister hotel Madinat Jumeirah. Alongside this refurbishment, the existing marina at Jumeirah Beach Hotel will undergo a redevelopment programme from 1 July to 30 September 2008. Marina Beach will be closed during this period and members are encouraged to use Main Beach and the resort pools. La Veranda and Waterfront restaurants will remain open for lunch and dinner during this time. The water sports activities will be relocated to main beach for the summer months.Development work will be conducted during daylight hours and the initial installation ofthe pontoon support columns will be the o­nly significant noise disturbance during theenhancement period. During this time Jumeirah Beach Hotel and the Sports & Leisureteam will ensure there is minimal impact to all guests with areas contained, where possible, to minimise disruption.
