The majestic Emirates Palace is located on 1.3 km of white sandy beach and surrounded by 85 Hectares of magnificently landscaped gardens, an approximate 30-minute drive from Abu Dhabi International Airport. The building reflects the different shades of the Arabian desert sands and in total the Emirates Palace boasts 113 domes, atop the main and ancillary buildings. The Grand Atrium dome is a 42-metre and wide and 60-metre high dome with a surface finish of silver and gold coloured glass mosaic tiles. This is the largest dome in the world (considering both height and width).
