Security Deposit at the Oasis Beach Tower. As per accepted international policy of security deposits, the hotel now implementing a security deposit of AED 1,500 or USD$ 411/- for all stays at the Oasis Beach Tower against possible damages within the apartment. This amount will be blocked o­n the clients’ credit card upon their check-in and will be charged o­nly in case damages occur in the apartment during the clients’ stay.

Construction Update

As Dubai continues to grow and expand a new exciting project o­n the existing grounds of the Oasis Beach Hotel will be developed. Although this new project will result in the complete redevelopment of the entire site by late 2008, we do not anticipate at this stage any significant disturbance for guests of the Oasis Beach Tower before early 2009. Guests who stay at the Oasis Beach Tower from 1st September 2008 o­nwards will not be able to enjoy certain facilities. However the following facilities will still be available: Beach access (close to Oasis Beach Tower); part of original hotel beach, Water sports, Pool deck access o­n the second level of the Oasis Beach Tower, Breakfast venue at the Oasis Beach Tower, Choice of independently managed licensed restaurants inside the Oasis Beach Tower: Frankie’s Italian Restaurant & Grill – Frankie Dettori and Marco Pierre White’s restaurant is already open o­n the ground floor of Oasis Beach Tower. Wagamama – this international restaurant is already open and serves pan-Asian food in a contemporary noodle bar setting. While we would be delighted to accept reservations for Room o­nly (RO) and Bed & Breakfast (BB) we regrettably will not be able to accept new bookings o­n Halfboard (HB), for reservations that include the period from 1st September 2008 o­nwards. We are delighted to inform you that beach access will be available for guests of Oasis Beach Tower and we have found solutions with regards to beach access. Guests will have the option between: Access to a public beach area (without facilities) located approximately 5-10 minutes walking distance from Oasis Beach Tower. A complimentary shuttle bus (three times per day) will transport Oasis Beach Tower guests to the Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa (30km distance) where they will have complimentary beach and pool access. All activities, food and beverage will be charged o­n consumption at applicable published prices which must be paid in cash at the point of consumption (no signing facilities available).

The Oasis Beach Tower is located in the Dubai Marina area which is in the heart of New Dubai. This extraordinary development is slated to become the world’s largest man-made marina when it is completed. Until such a time however, guests should be aware that several developments continue to take place in the area as skyscrapers, residential towers and office complexes take shape around the waterfront. Working hours often occur around the clock and audio disturbances can in some cases be observed.
